The City of Kimberley says water in the community is once again safe for consumption.

Back on Monday, May 13th, the City of Kimberley declared a water quality advisory for all residents. More details here.

Spring run-off was believed to be the culprit, which resulted in cloudy or turbid water to homes and businesses in the community.

Just over a full week later on Tuesday, May 21st, the City and Interior health have rescinded the advisory.

"Testing shows that current water quality is GOOD according to Interior Health's Guidelines, where turbidity levels are below 1 NTU."

Any questions or concerns can be addressed to the City of Kimberley at 250-427-9660.
