The Cranbrook Senior Bandits have improved their American Legion Conference record, going 3-1 over the weekend at Confederation Park, while the Junior Bandits were 1-3 in their exhibition games.

Battling the Bitterroot Red Sox in a doubleheader on Saturday in Cranbrook, the Bandits beat the Red Sox 6-1 and then again 9-8 in extra innings. The Bandits then faced off with the Glacier Twins on Sunday, grabbing another 3-2 victory before a 14-4 loss.

With their three wins on the weekend, the Senior Bandits are now 5-7 in the American Legion Conference with several weeks left to play in the regular season.

The Senior Bandits now gear up this coming weekend for the annual Big Bucks Tournament in Libby, Montana.

Meanwhile, the Cranbrook Junior Bandits were on the road for four exhibition games. In Whitefish on Saturday, the Bandits fell 7-3 and 11-1 but would bounce back in Trail on Sunday against the Orioles, splitting that doubleheader with a 12-8 win and a narrow 6-5 loss.

The Junior Bandits will now be off to Florence, Montana this upcoming weekend for an exhibition tournament, taking on the Libby Loggers, Bitterroot Bucs, and Glacier Twins.
