Columbia Valley Rockies Take Six-Game Winning Streak Into Creston Wednesday

The Columbia Valley Rockies and Creston Valley Thunder Cats clash in an uncommon weekday matchup Wednesday between the two Eddie Mountain Division opponents.

Although not rare for have a mid-week matchup, the two teams are set to meet Wednesday evening at Johnny Bucyk Arena.

Columbia Valley enters Creston tonight on a six-game winning streak as they continue to chase the Kimberley Dynamiters, who currently lead the Eddie Mountain Division by five points.

The Rockies are led by Dace Prymak (9G, 17A, 26P) and a trio of rookies including Erik Lloyd (9G, 14A, 23P), Jesse Carr (12G, 10A, 22P), and Gavin Fleck (14G, 7A, 21P).

Last place in the Eddie Mountain Division, the Creston Valley Thunder Cats are led by forwards Carson Small (11G, 17A, 28P) and Tyler Witzkie (15G, 10A, 25P) along with defenceman Andrew Clark (4G, 16A, 20P).

The Rockies and Thunder Cats hit the ice at Creston's Johnny Bucyk Arena at 7:30 pm.
