Drivers are urged to take caution on the roads Friday.

Along Highway 3, Drive BC is reporting black ice from Moyie to the Kingsgate border crossing to the south.

Areas around Cranbrook and Kimberley can expect to see fog, and therefore, reduced visibility.

This includes Cranbrook to Fort Steele and Fort Steele to Ta Ta Creek on Highway 95, and Moyie to Cranbrook and Cranbrook to Wardner on Highway 3. For Cranbrook to Kimberley and Kimberley to Ta Ta Creek on Highway 95 A, Drive BC has updated their report to no longer include fog patches, but now say to watch out for slippery sections.

Slushy and slippery sections have been seen on a section of Highway 93 from Radium Hot Spring to the Alberta border through Kootenay National Park.

Finally, you can expect winter driving conditions from Fernie to Sparwood on Highway 3.

Check Drive BC for updated road conditions.
