The City will undertake the repairs to the hot tub and wave pool on Friday, anticipating being able to fully open the aquatic centre once again on Monday, July 15.
Original Story (Thursday - 6:55 am)
The aquatic centre at Western Financial Place will be partially closed as of Thursday due to the need for additional repairs to the wave pool and hot tub, although the lane pool remains open to the public.
Starting Thursday, staff will drain the wave pool and undertake the additional repairs on Friday and through the rest of the weekend.
"As a result, both the wave pool and the hot tub will be closed to the public," confirmed the City of Cranbrook. "However, the lane pool will remain open and available to pool users."
"If all the required repairs are completed as planned, aquatic centre users can expect to be able to use the full facility again starting on Monday, July 15th."
The City of Cranbrook said that they will provide additional details and information should there be any change to the repair timeline for the wave pool and hot tub.
